Cactus (Process)

Final design plus the other variations I went through along the way. Mainly experiments with combinations of shading and lines to bring it to life a bit more past the original flat design (while nice, and I'm sure would have it's place, wasn't the style I was going for the purpose in mind - which was a design that could also be set as a nice pattern for merch designs)

Unsure if any of the variations could also work as an alternate option, what do you think?
