Nashville Scene: 2019 You're So Nashville If...Issue

Stoked to have done another Cover and spot illustration package for the Nashville Scene, the best publication in town!

Every year, The Scene takes submissions for quips and puns about the year's ever changing culture and hot topics about Nashville. The winners are then illustrated and published, a long with articles related to the pun.

The winning submission and cover "You're So Nashville if your idea of "light rail" means doing just a little bit of coke," references a recent fiasco involving the TN Speaker of The House and his Chief of Staff and some leaked texts, amongst other things. It also ties into the multiple failed attempts to get a mass transit plan passed.
