Shadows
I saw a great tutorial video on shadows by @Joseph Angelo Todaro You can watch the video here
What I learned will change the way I approach shadows in web design and illustration.
The left you see how I have always created them, the same shadow on each card, each card the same colour.
The right has a masked smaller shadow over the object below, the top object has a larger back shadow than the bottom object as it is the closest.
Thus creating even more depth and making it look more awesome. Now I can not un-see how bad it was before. The right design feels more refined, more considered and a bit more real then slap bang samey same shadows.
