Christmas Tree Light Show With The Raspberry Pi
Last February, I picked up a Raspberry Pi in order to start exploring and mining cryptocurrencies such as TurtleCoin. I was able to start mining the currency, but quickly realized that the Pi wasn't made for this resource-intensive task.
Soon, I discovered that you can make LEDs flash to audio with the Raspberry Pi. Although Christmas had passed, I chose to take on a project where I would make the LEDs on my Christmas tree blink to music. I learned a lot about hardware, since it was my first time working with breadboards, jumper wires, and solid-state relays. All in all, this was a really fun project and a great learning experience!
