36 Days of Type sketches

Sketchbook pages from April when I was working on 36 Days of Type challenge.

Brainstorming letterforms through pencil sketches was an important first step – it enabled me to quickly think and test ideas. I then would transfer two or three most interesting options into Illustrator and develop letter for the day.
