I like to create my own brushes on Procreate. I don’t know exactly the reason behind it, I guess that maybe I just like to be able to do everything on my own. Doesn’t mean that I only like to work by myself, more of being capable of solving problems, and knowing the tools that I use and how to tweak them.

That causes problems sometimes:
Up until last week I had the ‘Streamline’ setting pretty high on most of my Procreate brushes. I didn’t know why exactly I couldn’t reproduce some styles I was seeing out there in the wild, and last Tuesday, while testing settings, I turned ‘Streamline’ all the way down to zero on a new brush. After a few attempts, I had to readjust the way I was doing my traces, but after 5 minutes I was getting exactly what I wanted.

Brushes define the way I write, and this little improvement has changed how I do my brush script. For the better :)
