Detective Pulp Sketch

I wanted to start showing more shots of my process so here is a shot on the upcoming "Pulp" crate from Vector Mill. Here is a sketch of a detective pulp novel cover. The final will be an Illustrator file with a bunch of patterns, brushes, textures, a font, and so on. It's pretty fun to put together and I hope some of the elements will be useful. Next, I will ink it and then replicate the brush strokes with custom illustrator brushes. Some part of the sketch are a little rough and need some tweaking still. Larger version attached.
