Logo for the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon, on this, the week of its 50th anniversary of its achievement.

Experimental in its nature, it is meant to contextually hint at the earth-rise, the 'leap for mankind' as well as the human presence on the surface of the moon - the gold foil of the LEM.

I am a big fan of all things about the early space-flights so I was hyped to do this logo.
