Indonesia is rich in handicrafts. Various forms of handicrafts practiced are: woodcarvings for ornamentation and furniture, silverwork and engraving from Yogyakarta and Sumatra; filgree from South Sulawesi and Bali with different styles of clay, sandstone and wood sculptures.

Compared to other Asian Countries, Indonesia is a promising country for developing business based on their local products. The problem is, Indonesia local producers mostly don't know how to start selling their products. The government has indeed begun to implement e-commerce in UMKM, but most UMKM do not understand how to use internet. Some people saw it as an opportunity to take benefit for themself by bought Indonesia local products with very low prices and sell it 3 times it prices. Indonesia local producers (or commonly referred to as UMKM) should bring out their products to its full potential. That should be done because UMKM alone is contribute 60% to Indonesia's GDP last year.

Ragamindo is here as a marketplace for local producers to enhance their revenue and this is a glimpse of what I've done at Ragamindo.
