We forget information easily that has no context! The same goes for the upfront onboarding experience that explains the features of an app with no context. Once we start using the app and when we need help to get the task done, there is no helping hand.
Providing contextual help at the right moment indicating the actual action/touchpoint will be more valuable and memorable.
