Drawing a floorplan

Not everyone would claim to be able to draw. If we ask users to do this, everyone reacts differently. We need to make sure that complexity is as low as possible, but that users have the freedom to express their ideas.

Therefore, we limit our design to rectangles and deliberately avoid freehand drawing. Through abstraction, we move away from the demand for attention to detail and make everyone create an image of the living situation in seconds.

Fun fact: If we ask six people to draw a floor plan, 50% will draw an elevation and 50% a floor plan. Which means that half of all further actions would be nonsense. 🤔
