GloFish Website Redesign

The implementation of a refreshed style guide and brand refresh for GloFish has been one in the making since late 2018. Part of that overhaul was to update the sorely outdated visuals and information of the brand's website. The new interface features a much clearer navigation system, fresh information on helping newcomers get started in the hobby and a focus on the new online store for buying GloFish.

Research showed that customers were either confused about how to purchase GloFish online or didn't know that the possibility existed. Design iteration with the marketing team came to the result of using a persistent call-to-action button in the navigation bar to help customers easily find or discover the online store.

After a basic layout was agreed upon with all stakeholders, I worked to implement the components of the new style guide into the interface. After the mock-up was complete, I created a guide to hand-off to the developers to ensure consistency in font usage, colors, and components across the entire site.

The new website is currently in development and is expected to be completed in 2019.
