Latinxs Who Design Logo Concept

A logo concept for the Latinxs Who Design community I created when we first started brainstorming directions for the logo we'd use.

The goal was to create a logo that was as inclusive as the X in latinx which is the gender-neutral alternative to Latino and Latina. It moves beyond gender binaries and is inclusive of people who are trans, queer, agender, non-binary, gender non-conforming or gender fluid. With that in mind, I chose to focus on the X and create a concept using the X symbol on multiple layers overlaying one another.
