Stream App Concept - Idea Exploration

Design Study: Streaming Service App design! -

I'm new to this one - thanks to @Lena Gaik - so happy to share my project with you. Little to say I work as a Graphic Designer for over a 5 years now, and recently I transisioned to UI/UX field. I'm constantly pushing myself to do better at designing. This is the design for an app with you can control the streaming service that is provided on big screen, kinda like a remote, but for and app - Spotify is using this feature - love it! -

Desctiption
Project: Modern Looking Control App for Streaming Service - MLCASS
Audience: Everyone who has a Smart TV and love Streaming Services
Font: Segoe UI - a variety of it may be helpfull in the future -

Process
I often start with a research by use in with case I install all the avaliable apps for streaming and look for that they have. Since it was not for a client, there was no point of putting into many hours of work - kepping in mind - it's for having fun and learning something. In that case I started designing with lo-fi wireframes just to see if all the elements I want to implement are sticking together, as well as all the principles and rules I wanted to follow. Hi-fi wire was implemented after that. Pics, icons, choosing black background with high contrast as a base getting it closer to that streaming servicess usualy are like. -

Challenge
Working on exploration project like this one may often lead to some dead ends since there was no ground research done, but also fast pacing throu my mind and imagining on the fly also works pretty damn good every time I want to come up with something interesting. Wanted show this as an usable app that you can use while you are watching TV, so all the necessary features has to be avaliable most of the time, hence the search on the top, wiew of movies - feed, big button of a streaming to tv - and fast menu on botton. -
