BLEED AMERICAN

It's a bit of an unconventional Fourth of July post, but I thought Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American might fit the bill for today's throwback album.

I feel like Jimmy Eat World defined pop rock in a sophisticated way and has truly stuck to their guns well into the 2010s. Even though their sound has changed (as it should, no artist should be stagnant), this was the album that opened my eyes to J.E.W. and it hasn't stopped spinning since.
