I tried many looks, a lot of different executions before I decided that I needed to go back in my process and simplify the design of the illustration. I kinda went for this soviet/post-soviet book look with a dual colors and big shapes, combined with lines.

The idea of a poster that two persons are lost in the relationship and they are trying to figure things out by discovering themselves in a deeper level.
