Take Every Thought Captive

So stoked to show off a project I commissioned @Simon Walker to do for me. For a long time I’ve loved this biblical directive of taking every thought captive. My mind can easily wander every day and I wanted something I could place in front of me to exhort me to be present, hold each thought and test it to see if it is pure, holy, good, and right. I want to spend more of my life reflecting and focused on what matters most, not allowing myself to be carried off by thoughts and ideas which can distract or destroy me. I plan on having this framed and up in the house somewhere. At one point I wanted it tattooed but that’s on the back-burner for now.

Simon absolutely crushed the design on this. He came up with 5 concepts and this one continued to stand out to me as the winner. I’ve attempted and failed to do what he does and watching him create this with ease was an absolute pleasure. He’s great and I’m honored to have a custom piece from him to call my own. 🤘🏼
