Daily Logo Challenge 10 - Flame

A lot to say about this one! I spent a disproportionate amount of time on the central detail of the prompt: the flame. There are a million examples of flame vectors out there but I didn't feel right entirely working off what others have done. I challenged myself to create my own flame by using only overlapping circles. It feels familiar for sure, but is essentially unique. Once I had the flame, the BBQ joint concept came together quickly. the placement of the flame over the "i" is a nod representing a matchstick. This challenge has been an unexpected favorite since it evolved into a small love letter to my favorite food group and all the incredible retro signage I saw on a recent trip to Nashville.
