Pathfinders Identity: Idea 1

Hey everyone - this is my first post on Dribbble! I was first introduced to Dribbble when I was working as an intern at AKQA earlier this year, and was really struck by the community feel to the site. So I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and contributing to such a friendly community!

This is one of my ideas for a local youth club, Pathfinders (affectionately known by everyone as Pathies) which I volunteer at as a leader. It is for 11-15 year olds, takes place every Friday night and is run by the church.

I'm working on creating an identity for the next term, to bring a new consistency across the youth work that goes on there. This is one of the options I've been working on. Wanted to go for something bold but with a slight feeling of movement, whilst also appearing friendly and avoiding anything overly church-like (can sometimes be a turn-off for young people).

Thoughts and feedback massively appreciated! I've got some other designs but this is currently probably one of my favourites. The colours swap round for other days of the week (they do stuff on Sundays and Tuesdays too).
