Daily UI | Challenge #5 | App Icon

For this challenge, I sit and study the Material Design rules for app icons, and the technical information of the Google guides helped in the design process.

So my first thought was "What kind of app this icon would represent?"

After some time the idea was an app for e-books reading. The name of the app is Cognit that comes from the Latin word "cognitionis" that means knowledge.

Instead of creating some type of draw illustration I took the first letter of the app name, a create an intersection with horizontal bars that symbolize words of a book page.
