Spacing, spacing everywhere!

When I was younger, I built any design or powerpoint slide around the topic of "does it look pretty" or "how many animations am I able to put into this, so it looks cool".

Future work has shown that a profound knowledge of spacing can be huge game changer once it comes to modular components, design systems and a flawless experience of the end consumer of the product.

The more articles I read, books I discovered and watched designers talking about their experience, the more I found the idea of that and spacing of words, components and icons very fascinating.

Once taken into consideration, spacing can be a tool to impress...at least secretly ;)
