I Am Mothe®

Have you seen the Netflix movie “I Am Mother”? I did a while ago and got quickly inspired to make a quick poster. 🤖

Somehow reminds me more of Terminator movie series. I still don’t know what I liked the most—either the amazing CG work blended with real props (Weta Workshop for more info), or the AI representation. 👾

To me, it quickly started to feel like any other post-apocalyptic-AI-takes-all Netflix movie but there was something in it that I quite liked. Maybe the absurdity of accepting a robot being your true parent. Or maybe not... 👽
