Designing Posters with/for the Street

Designing Posters with/for the street is an interactive installation that designs posters to the people and, at the same time, to the site where it is settled.

The posters are automatically designed, and evaluated, using information collected from the surrounding environment through computer vision techniques and context-aware data. Also, the installation has an artificial learning module that enables itself to increase the quality of its outcomes based on environmental feedback and people interaction. The installation was developed to the 21st cultural week of the University of Coimbra and placed in four store windows of Coimbra historic centre over four weeks.

Work developed at Computational Design and Visualization lab. of CMS/CISUC.
