I love games. During much of my childhood - growing up in a very small town - there wasn't much to do. Games helped fill the lulls of life. I truly thought that as I grew up their appeal would diminish - but if anything it's only grown and I have the privilege of working on them alongside a very talented team.
I love what games can do for us! They've been bringing us together since the dawn of man. For me, the SNES was one of the prime examples of just how. I remember how my sister and I would always fight, as siblings do, but when we played the SNES we united to take on everything from street ninjas in Double Dragon, to cowboys in Sunset Riders, save princesses - forget the name of that game 💁 - and of course we'd be Street Fighters, and race in our karts too.
Many fond memories playing through beat 'em ups, fighters, shooters, etc. with friends over the years and today, it's how I stay in touch with some of my childhood friends.
