The Bauhaus is often referred to as one of the most impactful modernist art school of the 20 century. Its approach to teaching and the relationship between art, society, and technology had a great influence both in Europe and in the United States. The Bauhaus aimed to reunite fine art and functional design, creating practical objects with the soul of artworks. The school was operational from 1919 to 1933, so this year art and design society mark 100 years of Bauhaus with a big number of events, publications, designs, and artworks.
