Rylan | A Modern Serif Font
A lot of the fonts I design develop as a result of needing something specific for different projects – Rylan is no exception!
I was looking for something that fit in the vein of all the retro serifs that are coming back in, but had a bit of a twist. I really wanted there to be several characters that totally defined the font and made it unique and identifiable. That's how the overall serif shape developed, as well as the final forms of the Vv, Ww, Xx, and Yy characters.
I've been really enjoying this font for logo design and web headings. It also includes a bunch of bonus hand-painted shapes and an extra sans to pair it with. I hope you use Rylan to make something awesome!
