Good Friday Chattanooga / Easter 2019

This year at City Church, we decided to take a page from Passion City Church and their Good Friday Atlanta event they host each year. We hosted a city-wide Good Friday service at The Signal, an awesome venue in Chattanooga, and invited our (now) good friends Leeland Mooring and Casey Moore from Leeland to lead worship that night. We even had the opportunity to lead a few songs with them which was awesome.

Since our events bridged between a concert venue and our church for the main Easter services, we wanted to try to tie them together so that when promoted, they remained different but connected visually. I landed on this sort of transitional/brutalist idea and to my surprise, our team approved it. Definitely one of the most "pushing the envelope" ideas I've presented but I love how it turned out.

As in years past, we also printed a host team shirt that was used just for this one weekend, promoting the sub-theme of the weekend, "Ain't No Grave."
