Lapse-Time Infographic

Lapse-Time is a material probe into notions of punctuality and time among students at the Srishti Institute in Bangalore.

A summary infographic of our project was prepared by our team in order to give a brief overview of the project at a glance. It can be seen to the right. The goals, a summary of the artefact’s functioning, a timeline of the process, and major insights gathered are all presented in an easy-to-understand format aimed at a non-technical audience. You can see the key insights here in this Dribbble shot.

How Lapse-Time works:

It uses an Arduino micro controller to trigger an image on the arrival of the student which differs based on whether the student arrives early or late to class.

In addition to that a team member will be on site to see the participant’s reaction to the artefact, and will engage them in conversation about their feelings regarding the artefact and attempts to change their behaviour.
