HaloPal - Halo Hackathon Entry

A few years ago I made an app for the Halo Hackathon that gained a 4th place finish / honourable mention from Microsoft out of 25 entries.

Microsoft even added a quote for HaloPal:
“This is a very beautiful and slick app, if you’re a Halo player and have an iPhone, you should get this one.”

It was the first time anyone, let alone a large entity such as Microsoft, had called anything I've designed or developed beautiful. When I read this quote at 2am when the results first came out, I couldn't go back to sleep - it felt like validation after months of pouring myself into the design and development of this project.

After the project came 4th the app was sold to the Tracker Network.
