TriviaCon Landing Page
This was a simple landing page for the upcoming TriviaCon show which will take place in Las Vegas in the spring of 2020.
TriviaCon is a "trivia conference" in which hundreds of players from around the country will descend upon Las Vegas and compete in trivia games all weekend long.
I designed everything you see here, from logo to site templates.
The executive team wanted a logo that strongly evoked Las Vegas, and after several mood boards landed on neon signage and non-flat 3D effects. The entire logo was designed and built in Illustrator in vector. It was the one of 3 presented, and refined over the course of a few iterations to get to this stage. While the name of the event is "TriviaCon" they very much preferred the all-caps approach, as well as the separation of Trivia and Con in the final logo, so that is indeed intentional based on their feedback.
It was requested (since the page is so text heavy) to keep the layout "traditional" and basic as it will later serve as a place to also purchase tickets via a third party with "traditional" widgets. I also created the mobile web version. The other key goal was that this landing page be inside the Sporcle wrapper, and not a stand-alone site.
