RARURARU is a short series of films (produced and directed by Chiara Mannarino) which explore three different neurocognitive states through the language of fashion. The characters Aiutua, Obsedo and Pourua are the personification of three mental disorders. The inspiration comes from unpacking the link between surrealism and the birth of psychoanalysis with the intention of having an outcome that is to be placed into a contemporary context.
