Mecha Skull

It's been quite sometime since I done skulls, so I thought I will do it one for today, I had a really clear image what I wanted to do, but after finishing I had this feeling that something is missing and I could improve my piece dramatically, but don't know how. Maybe someone have a great suggestions or interesting techniques, or links where I could look for inspiration or improvement. Do not hesitate and leave a comment.
