Motion training - Menu

Good evening all,
i was exercising with motion in Adobe XD, and thought about how some functions are often attached to a direction, like in this case "previous" is a motion of moving back, "reload" is a pull/release and "menu" would be an expanding space towards up.
Feels instinctive, does it not?
