Bird of Humanity

There’s a Cherokee prophecy about this century that says the bird of humanity has a male wing and a female wing, and it has been flying for centuries with primarily only its male wing. The female wing has been un-fully extended— somewhat truncated, somewhat shy. While the male wing has had to keep the bird of humanity afloat it has become over muscular, over developed, and, in fact, become violent. And the bird of humanity has thus been flying in circles as a result. The prophecy says that in time the female wing will extend and express itself fully in men and women. The male energy or the yang energy will relax and the bird of humanity will soar.
