Ka’aba key pendants

To accompany the Museum of Islamic Art’s exhibition ‘Hajj: A Journey through Art’ @miaqatar (October 2013-January 2014), we designed and produced these exquisite Ka’aba key pendants that feature distinct calligraphy on the key shaft, drawn by Soraya Syed, @artofthepen. With the expert assistance of a commissioned jeweller, the limited edition product design available in their gift shop was modelled on an actual key from the museum’s collection.
