Cascading Rows for the Animation Handbook

Animation, when done well, is crucial to building better relationships with the people who use our products—but it’s tricky to master.

Enter Animation Handbook, our newest book in the Design Better library.
The book was written by Ryan McLeod, a self-taught designer who designs and develops the infamous game Blackbox, which won an Apple Design Award and has become a testbed for interaction design and accessibility innovation. In addition to my own, you’ll see animations and illustrations by Joshua Oluwagbemiga and Ranganath Krishnamani.

For this small example, we worked on a set of cascading rows that appear and disappear with a quick transition.
