Clever Cloud – New Logo

In early 2019 I worked with Clever Cloud to create a new logo. Clever Cloud helps developers and companies (such as Airbus) quickly deploy apps & databases, and effortlessly push code. Their previous mark was hard to use, and didn’t reflect their values properly.

During the sketching phase we decided that we wanted to steer away from cloud-related symbols, as there are plenty out there already. We pursued some interesting C-shaped logos in the early digital phase. Ultimately we decided on the ruby/hexagon shape for its simplicity and intriguing look. It represents the service Clever Cloud offers; priceless and simple, but with many technical facets. They wrote up an awesome blogpost on the whole process. ❤️
