Travel Design Challenge - Photo Album
"Traveling is one of my favorite things to do outside of work. In 2016, I decided to extend a work trip and visit several amazing National Parks and other locations in Utah and Arizona, including my first visit to both Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon. I want to capture these moments in a meaningful way using the technology I have available to me, but I haven't found a digital representation of my travels— the places I've gone and things I've done—that feels as curated as the analog methods, like a scrapbook. I used our monthly design prompt, Travel, to noodle on what this could look like. I'd love to have an online gallery that displays every trip I've taken and allows me to drill into my travels. This service would display featured photos from the places I've gone on a given day and generate a map with the path I took, building my journey as I go and even prompting me at the end of each day to write a quick entry about what I did." - @Caitlyn Mayers
Shout out to @Jeremy Chapline who took the designs and created a gorgeous animation of them.
