#1: Don't criticize, condemn or complain

Around a decade ago, I was in a Kinkos getting some of my design work printed for a class assignment, when I stumbled upon this great book called “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. A true classic that’s chock full of wisdom (if you haven’t read it, go check it out.)

Anyway, I’ve had this idea of illustrating each of the chapter names for years now, and it’s been a weird passion project that I’ve visited and re-visited many times but was never satisfied with what I came up with. Until now.

I thought vintage signage was an entertaining way to convey the book’s wisdom. Beautiful pieces of advice that fade away and are forgotten by a constantly changing modern world.
