Charlie Coombs: Symbols No. 1

Lately, I’ve been inspired by vintage books on symbolism in early graphic design so I sat down yesterday without really having a purpose and just started creating symbols. Its nice to design something without purpose, just focusing on proper balance and symmetry rather than a particular concept. What’s your favorite?
