Filter

During the design process and testing, we learned that administrators had a need to filter user lists in some quite complicated ways by using both “and” and “or” logic. For example: users that have logged in and come from Denmark or Norway or Sweden.

I tried various ways of designing this, but we ended up with an almost “readable” UI where the elements of the filter are based on a normal structure of a sentence. This way users can “read” the UI and quickly get an understanding of what results to expect from the filter.
