Betr - Logo Concepts

Recently got contacted to develop the rebrand of Blueprint™ (which was developed by the amazing @Steve Wolf ), they are now called Betr™.

Betr is a company that empowers the development & wellness of kids through social media and technology by providing them with positive content to better their lives.

After some calls with their team and a very complete brief, i went through my braintorming process, coming up with these two concepts. Both represent the inital of the name, B.

For the left one i thought why not use the tongue emoji with a b on it. It's subtle and gives the brand a lighthearted feel 😛

As for the right one, it's more direct, having a play symbol on the negative space of the letter, representing media ▷

Which one do you prefer and why? I am curious to know 🙏🏼
