Speed Concept - Makers & Shakers landing page challenge

This was kind of a double challenge for me. One was the actual challenge of creating a landing page for a sadly short-lived community. The second was wanting to challenge my obsessive nature by putting a VERY restrictive time limit on myself.

The first challenge Jesse issued, was to redesign the landing page and submit to the community for feedback. He provided all the content, graphics, brief. Unfortunately it became clear that the whole community needed to be shut down before the deadline even came. Members were allowed to keep the assets and continue the challenge on their own for practice and portfolio use.

Not needing to create graphics necessarily or any copy at all, I decided this would be a great opportunity to add a new layer to the challenge and see how fast I could come up with just a thumbnail concept because I struggle with nitpicking, A LOT. Especially in the beginning phases when it's too soon for polish.

So, I gave myself an afternoon to complete it. Started after lunch, got interrupted a few dozen times, and finished it before it was time to start cooking dinner.

I do aim to revisit this some day, time permitting. But for now, I achieved what I had intended initially which was a super fast concept that I could build on and polish in the future.
