Open wheel racer concept

Design for an open wheel racecar with a windscreen for driver protection and large ground effect tunnels under the sidepods, producing downforce from the air that moves under the car and negating the need for large wings (that create turbulent air for the cars following). Vestigial wing on engine cover cleans up airflow over the back. Fictional sponsor Red Rover is an emergency GPS network geosynchronously linked over Australia's Outback, to aide lost travelers/search and rescue operations. Built entirely in Adobe Illustrator.
