Personal website: colors

I’ve often defaulted to a light color palette without much color when designing my personal websites. Black and white with a main color, often light pink. This time around I wanted to challenge myself, I wanted a colorful, vibrant profile.

I was experimenting with a light pink color in combination with a more vibrant coral one (later a similar one was Pantones color of the year). However, the combination was a bit dull, I wanted more colors! I started to look for inspiration in my home. One day I played with dough together with my 2 year old, where that deep blue color was. Suddenly, I saw this color on my childs sweater, my scarf, and also on one of my favorite records Sleep Well Beast.
