Experiential Design Project: Music Memorial (2016)
Close to the time David Bowie passed away in 2016 I was given an Experiential Design brief that with the use of Arduino was to create an Experiential installation that didn't require the user to use a mouse or keyboard.
Music Memorial is an interactive simulation experience for fans of music. Passed on music icons are animated to simulate a performance so fans can experience that artist once more. Using the buttons on a tape machine, the user can play, stop, fast forward and rewind the simulation. This is done using electronics and Arduino code. The Arduino board is placed inside the tape machine. The user controls the simulation through the tape machine and facts about the musician’s life will appear alongside.

This was an extremely interesting and experimental project to work on, one of my most unusual projects but I really enjoyed working on it.
