OSF Logo
This is the final version of the OSF logo. I first challenged myself to create 50 different lo-fi ideas using the initials as the primary iconographic element. The best one was selected and refined.
Its construction mirrors that of the OpenStack logo, which is composed of three equal vertical sections and makes use of rounded corners.
We chose Source Code Pro, a monospaced typeface, for the name because monospaced fonts have historically been used in text editors to display computer code. It is also an open source typeface, which aligns with the foundation's open source mission.
