Poster for Poetry Reading Event

Riso-printed poster design for a poetry reading event.
The poem ‘For a time, I can recall ‘ by Andrew Byrne was used to influence the design of the poster. The poem explores memory and the struggle of recalling details of someone you have not seen for a long time. The poster expresses this struggle by breaking down a woman’s face into smaller dots and breaking down her portrait. As the viewer opens the poster the dots extend and larger details of a face are uncovered.
