Tail or no tail?

This is the final(ish) development of a logo for a handmade crocheted goods company (y'know, woollen gloves, scarves, that sort of thing) predominantly aimed at Style, Quality and Eco conscious women.

The second version includes a "tail" that I think adds personality and humour to an otherwise fairly sparse logo.

So what do you think guys – tail or no tail?
