Adaptive music player

Spotify inspired me to make a redesign of their app. I missed a few functionalities, like being able to read the lyrics of a song while listening to it.
In the end it has become more of an original design as opposed to a redesign of Spotify.

In this design I applied “Adaptive Design”. The idea is that the color of several interactive elements within the UI (such as the lyric panel, “like” button and the timeline of the song) adapt the dominant colors of the album art.

In a following shot I will show you another missing function I designed. This functionality allows the user to collaboratively listen to music with a friend. Think about a song you wish to share, but also want to listen to it at the same time even though you’re not next to each other.
